HILLARY WALL X CORK & CHROMA

Hillary Wall is a self taught artist and the founder of Cork & Chroma. She mostly paints digitally and in acrylic on canvas. Recently taking to mixed media, Hillary combines her own photography with digital paint to make mood-altering imagery rich in imagination and color.

“Creative expression is a big part of my self care, and I have found that to be true especially in the time of coronavirus. Most days, I try to paint what I need to see. I start with uplifting imagery of the nature I experience around me. Then I let my imagination sort of take a walk and I begin to create scenes or images that make me feel something. I suppose I am trying to channel hope and positivity in these images. I know a piece is finished when it makes me feel a certain way. It makes me feel a type of happiness that I would like to share.”
