Love Letters From Our Creative Community
Went to the art cafe for our work Christmas party with a group of 10 and it was a huge hit! Easy to book and they were flexible with arrival time which we really appreciated as we were herding a big group. It was a really relaxing environment and every step of the process was made fun by the staff.
They provided warm ups to get us in the creative zone which were really fun. We enjoyed it being self directed because we could go at our own pace and chat while we were working but the staff were also around to help if you needed advice. Would love to go back again in future 🙂
Had such a lovely time at Cork and Chroma with my partner and my 6-year-old niece. We all chose different activities, which made it even more fun. My partner did dry clay, my niece painted on canvas, and I worked on a traditional Japanese-inspired design. We spent about 2 hours there and were all engaged the whole time.
My niece is usually very active, so it was amazing to see her so focused and happy the entire session. The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they guided us through everything in a way that felt easy and relaxed. There are lots of different experiences to choose from, so it’s a great spot for couples, families, or anyone wanting to do something creative. Would definitely recommend it.
Couldn’t recommend this place more as a fun thing to do with friends, your partner, your family or just by yourself. I walked past this shop looking at the Southbank markets with my boyfriend. The shelf of figurines out the front caught our eyes and we were greeted by the most amazing staff.
They made us feel so happy and welcomed and walked us through everything they do at Cork and Chroma as it was our first time doing a paint and sip activity. We sat down to get started and they provided us the sweetest warm up activities before we got started. Every now and then a lovey lady would come to check on us and give us helpful tips and just was happy to see what we were doing. Very reasonable costs too as they provide everything you need for your art in the shop! Already looking forward to my next visit.

Do I need to book ahead?
Yes, you need to book your table. Check our session times and book online before visiting.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely! Art Café is the perfect place for a solo creative date. Come along, enjoy some quiet time, meet other creative people, or simply enjoy your own company.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes! Art Café is BYO, so feel free to bring your favourite snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. You are also welcome to enjoy our complimentary T2 bar!
How long can I stay?
You have booked your table for two hours. Designed to give you plenty of time to settle in, explore your creativity, and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
What if I don’t know what to create?
While our art café experience is self guided, we also offer a seasonal craft specials menu which includes some step by step project options.
What’s included in the booking price?
Your seat is secured with a $15 deposit (taken off your bill on the day). Materials for the warm-up and your chosen project are provided as part of the Art Café experience.
