FOUNDER
Hillary is a cappuccino in the winter and iced latte in the summer kind of person. She’s big on the combination of peanut butter with chocolate, and long walks with her family and dog, Trudy. Eternally inspired by the likes of Lady Gaga, Hillary is intrigued by the concept of reinvention, the surreal and the unexpected.  Usually you can find Hillary up to her elbows in acrylic, but since having her first baby she’s started dabbling in digital painting (much cleaner!) She’s working on rush-free living, and prefers to view the world through the lenses of her rose coloured glasses.
HEAD OF BRAND AND PROJECTS
Chloé has been on the C&C team since 2016, she began as an artist hosting sessions and is now Head of Brand and Projects, based out of the Melbourne studio. A new mama, she has a new appreciation of life with an emphasis on letting the ordinary things in life be truly extraordinary. Since the concept of time has taken on a whole new meaning with baby in tow, Chlo is learning to ride the wave of creative energy more than ever, honouring when there’s a need for rest and go-go-going when the flow is flowing… Ease and lightness, baby… oh – and plenty of time to paint!
HEAD OF CONTENT AND CULTURE
Eddy began working at Cork & Chroma in 2016, with many great painting sessions and dynamic projects leading to her current role as Head of Content and Culture. The events in 2020 have inspired a new approach for Eddy’s creativity. By consciously slowing down her lifestyle and making more time to make, she is valuing her creative expression like never before.
Mama Banana is her artistic persona and fashion label and she wears her creativity on her sleeve, (preferably yellow faux fur or hot pink organza). With ideas on tap and a long list of projects on the go, you’ll always find Eddy with something in her hands, whether it be knitting needles, a paintbrush, sewing machine, or pizza dough, making and creating is what she lives for.
LEAD WRITER/SENIOR CONTENT CREATOR
Erin began working at Cork & Chroma in 2017 as an artist while completing her uni degree in Creative & Professional Writing. These days she artists, writes, edits, draws, and creates new paintings for the company. Every day looks a little different for Erin and she likes it that way; this attitude is reflected in her capricious coffee order, and the way she can never have the same palette of bedsheets consecutively. Erin is starting to understand creativity as something she is, rather than something she does, and is noticing how this creative wiring colours all areas of her life.
