Moonlight Magic is a painting inspired by a moonlit night on a beach in Byron Bay. This episode is an example of how to take a personal experience and turn it into art, capturing what you can remember and express on canvas.

This moody, moony piece uses only a few colours and focuses on expressing the light from the moon, cast on the clouds and illuminating parts of the beach. It’s a good painting to practice training your painter’s eye on where to add highlights in your piece to pack the most punch!
