Paint and sip with Cork & Chroma in Melbourne!

The Cork & Chroma Melbourne studio is situated in the inner-city arts precinct of Collingwood/Fitzroy, on the southern end of Smith Street (number 36 to be exact!). Our team and studio space seeks to spark your creativity, allow you to try something new and celebrate life through the medium of paint in a fun environment with your loved ones, friends, fam or rolling solo.

We hold regular pop-up paint and sip sessions at various locations across the greater Melbourne area including at our fave Yarra Valley winery, Elmswood Estate, as well as collaborating with various brands, hosting some of Melbourne’s finest drag performers including the fabulous and formidable Art Simone, and we cater to painters of all ages with our All Ages and Family Paint sessions. The more the merrier, we say!

Good To Know

It’s important to note that we have two brick and mortar studios in the postcode of 4101 (South Brisbane, that is). Our flagship studio, ‘Montague Road’, is situated down the Kurilpa Point end, around the corner from GoMA and across the road from Parmalat. You’ll find us painting up a storm six days a week at 44 Montague Road, South Brisbane.

Our second Brisbane studio is set right in the heart of the South Bank Parklands precinct with dual frontage on both Grey and Little Stanley Streets. Whilst our official address is 15A Little Stanley Street, you’ll most likely enter and be greeted on the Grey Street side. With a plethora of local bars and restaurants in along this entertainment strip, there are plenty of options to make the most of your time before or after the session.

Both studios are available for private events. You can check studio availability here or enquire further with our Bookings & Events Team via events@corkandchroma.com.au and 07 3558 8430.

Brisbane Session Options

Our public sessions run for three hours and include step by step guidance from one of our Cork & Chroma artists. We supply the arty bits, and you BYO wine and people (or come by yourself and make new friends). All experience levels welcome.

Celebrating is our specialty! If you’re celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday party, hens party, team building event or something else, we’d love to help honour your milestone with a Private Event. View the Calendar to check our availability.

We also offer family sessions for our budding artists, which run for two hours and unlike our public and private sessions are BYO non-alcoholic drinks only.

If you can’t make it to our studios or would rather paint from home, no worries. You can paint along at home with our streaming series, Happy Painting (coming soon!).

Collaborations

We love getting creative with our offerings and building partnerships with brands that vibe with us. Festivals, launches, community activations, presentations, pop ups, corporate events—it’s all possible. If you’d like to work together we’re all ears; please reach out and let us know what you have in mind. To start the conversation email our General Manager, Tegan via tegan@corkandchroma.com.au with the subject line ‘Partnerships’.
